Temporary Health and Safety Role

This role supports a charity by providing health and safety advice, support, training and investigations for various fundraising activities across the UK.
All policies, procedures and training are already in place, so your role will be to ensure consistent advice and delivery to over 5,500 volunteers and staff. Anything outside the norm can be escalated to the Head of Safety for guidance. The key to this role is delivering consistent advice, which is based on existing policy, ensuring the right insurances are in place for events and training plans are delivered. This includes online training with follow ups, as well as Teams based training delivered to staff.
This role needs someone with strong attention to detail and a good understanding of practical health and safety. Similar experience dealing with people and the public would be great, for example in charity, facilities management, social housing, retail, education, events or a similar environment.
